The programme focuses on all aspects of tooth whitening and is designed to introduce and expand the entire dental teams’ knowledge. Achieving successful treatment outcomes and managing patient concerns with the use of effective whitening programmes. Delegates also have the opportunity to learn how utilising the skills of each team member can to create a successful whitening practice.

Aim

To provide delegates with knowledge and understanding of all aspects of tooth whitening, strategies for implementing effective whitening programmes and how utilising the team members skills can create a successful tooth whitening practice.

  • List the components that form a comprehensive examination prior to tooth whitening

  • Design a suitable prescription template

  • Integrate appropriate treatment planning for tooth whitening into aesthetic and restorative treatment

  • List the types and causes of enamel discolouration

  • Explain the types of tooth whitening treatments available and recommend the most appropriate treatment

  • Summarize the causes and management protocols sensitivity

  • Recognize problems associated with tooth whitening and identity strategies to overcome them

  • Recall new innovations in tooth whitening

  • Design a tooth whitening programme

  • Integrate the skills of all the team members to create a successful whitening practice
