This year Dr Linda Greenwall has been the chairperson of the London Alpha Omega chapter. At Dean Adam Stabholz suggestion, the London Alpha Omega chapter initiated the first joint London and Jerusalem Conference hosted by the Hadassah Faculty of Dental Medicine on Sunday 10th March 2013. The conference held at The Hebrew University School of Dental Medicine at the Hadassah, Ein Kerem Campus attracted over 85 participants from 8 different countries. This was a combined venture and solidarity mission between Alpha Omega London and Hadassah. The event was chaired by Dr Linda Greenwall, Alpha Omega London Chairperson 2012, and Dr Alon Livny from Jerusalem Alpha Omega and a lecturer at Hadassah.

The conference began with a note of welcome from Dean Adam Stabholz, Professor Noah Stern and Dr Linda Greenwall, Chairperson of London Alpha Omega 2012. The jam-packed day saw 12 specialists presenting sessions on a range of topics including General Dentistry, Implants and Periodontics, Endodontics and Aesthetic Dentistry. The 2012 Ino Sciaky Prize in Oral Medicine was awarded by Treasurer Aron Marcus of the Alpha Omega London Trust to prize winner Ragda Abdalla. Participants were also treated to a special guided tour of the Chagall Windows and the Hadassah campus.

The Jerusalem Conference was kindly sponsored by Henry Schein and Oral B. In the evening Oral B also hosted a dinner for all participants at a restaurant in Jerusalem. The conference received very positive feedback and Alpha Omega London would like to thank Hadassah for this successful collaboration.
